Flanges
Management

At Floatex, we offer professional flange management and joint integrity programs for construction and maintenance projects across the energy and infrastructure sectors. We fully understand the environmental and economic imperatives for leak-free systems, and the importance of managing bolted flange connections to reduce leaks and fugitive emissions has become increasingly evident in recent years.

Our commitment to achieving a high percentage of “Leak-Free” joints is backed by a leak-free guarantee: if a joint leaks, we fix it at our own cost. This approach benefits our customers by reducing costs, maximizing plant uptime, and improving health, safety, and environmental performance. The success of managing bolted flange connections relies heavily on the technical information provided to our technicians.

Our bespoke System Integrity Management (SIM) software calculates precise data considering flange type, gasket type, bolt material, and lubricant coefficient. This accurate data, combined with full traceability of work performed, provides peace of mind to our clients. All technical and mechanical data is compiled during operations, saving critical time for future maintenance planning, shutdowns, and outages. Our SIM software, designed for end-to-end joint integrity and flange management, is real-time, web-based, and intended for the asset’s lifetime, adding value and saving money for our customers.

The software features include flange management, multi-tool bolt calculator, full joint history, linkage and overlay capability for all construction, pre-commissioning, and shutdown activities, live data feed, electronic work pack and report generation, video and PDF holding, and automated change functions. It can be utilized across various assets and locations during the construction stage and easily consolidated during the hook-up phase, ready for operations.

Floatex boasts a substantial mechanical engineering capability, with many specialist engineers available to support ad-hoc requirements and provide effective solutions to meet customer needs. We regularly measure our engineers’ competence and experience to ensure we meet customer requirements and specifications, always striving for their continuous development.

We provide key technologies that add value and enable end-to-end control, offering useful and effective tools for our customers’ project or operations groups. Our service areas include land, swamp, and offshore terrains. Floatex aims to deliver services and products on schedule without compromising quality, environmental health, or the safety and security of our personnel and project sites.
